ROCK THE RACE

The birth of a completely new generation of festivals is taking place in the Oschersleben Motorsport Arena from the 6th to the 8th of June 2008 - and you can be part of it!

You get everything you need at ROCK THE RACE: In addition to a diversified first class line-up of bands we also present you the best of Motor Sports. For the premier in 2008 we thought of something really special:

Before Germany’s hit artist Herbert Grönemeyer enters the stage at sundown for the great finale on Saturday at 20:30h, performing his complete concert-program of the 2008 tour, we will be showing a live broadcast of the opening game of the European Football Championship on the big screens of the concert venue from 18:00h to 20:15h. And there’s more to it than that, to set you in mood for these two highlights 2raumwohnung and Die Fantastischen Vier will perform before the showing from 14:00h to 17:30h. Thanks to a great partnership with the national campaign loud against Nazis we put together an extraordinary lineup to give our guests the chance to really rock the house on Friday.


Die Fantastischen Vier

Successfull newcommer Pohlmann is going to open the music program at ROCK THE RACE and put you in the mood for the german crossover-outriders H-Blockx. At last we will show you a real highlight with the headliner of the day: Revolverheld are about to rock the stage!


In the context of an unique day of action in cooperation with the province Saxony-Anhalt and their campaign look and interfere! for a tolerant and democratic Saxony-Anhalt we are inviting school students to attend the festival. Whilst the province assumes the complete transport for all pupils to the festival, we as the organizer are going to subsidize the ticket prices for the most part. As a matter of course, all actors support the campaign on this day!

We tear up the track of the arena! From friday to sunday we offer a diversyfied and spectacular motorsport-program: The MINI-Challenge, the International Drift-Challenge, the Triumph Street Triple Cup and an International Sidecar Championship are only the beginning!
